Bacon, bacon, bacon.
This has only come to my attention since returning to the UK, but it is not possible to buy back bacon in the US. The only bacon available is streaky bacon. Nice as this is, it is not ideal, and begs the question: what do they do with the rest of the pig?

Mmm.
I like both back bacon and streaky bacon.
Which parts of the pig do they come from?
Wikipedia says:
"Back bacon is known as Canadian bacon in the United States but not in Canada, where it is simply called back bacon."
It does admit that bacon in North America is predominantly of the streaky variety.
Can you please stop talking about bacon? It's not fair.
