Last day

So today is my last day in Evanston. It's a nice sunny day, none of the grimness of snow and clouds we've had far too much of over the last couple of weeks, and I'm sure I won't be missing too much. And this weather has the added benefit that it's not going to delay any planes.

So farewell Evanston, it's been a good ride, and I'll be back to visit soon.

QWANDO UPDATE 12/21/07

Claire, I hope things are going well in TX, and Happy Hollydaze! from me and the gang at the Evanston Y.

Tonite I collared about every senior belt I could find in order to get them to instruct me re: the Won Hyo pattern. Actually, David started me (and Sarah) out last week. With the green, comes a degree more solemnity and subtlety to the proceedings, I am discovering.

Meanwhile, this guy whose name I don't know - he's a kid, really, his voice hasn't changed all that much, he's a green with blue stripes - just about broke my arm during the HoShenSho (sp?) exercises. Also, according to him, I don't do anything right - he kept correcting me on everything. O well. Deal with it, student.

Andy wanted to know where you went to. I told him you had been deported on sedition charges. Unfortunately, he may have believed me. I'll correct the situation ASAP.

Kathy seemed to be getting a cold. She seems to get a lot of colds. Also she has new glasses and a new hair style - mostly shorter. She says hi.

After class, Vinnie told me about the gangbanger prob at Evanston high school. He also says hi.

The usual suspects ended up at the Celtic Knot and got tipsy.
