American flags are everywhere. I mean really, everywhere. Maybe it's just that the Americans are prouder of their country than the English, but if you put up a St. George's Cross in England, then either it's the football World Cup, or you're a member of the BNP.

Or just called George (like The George on Midsummer Common). There's a St George's Cross on a monastery that I walk past on my way to `work'. It's called the Monastery of the Cross. Lots of Israeli flags here too. Funny that.
I think Britain's interest in patriotism is flagging.
